Role: Design from concept to delivery Corporate Holiday E-card
Usually Macy’s threw a giant party for employees during the holidays (one year they rented out the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC!). But 2020 was… well, you know. Our CMO asked if we could design a simple email with a message about the company’s donation to local charities. My copy writer partner and I took it a step further and created a series of branded animations that acknowledged the tough year we’d all had (the wrecking ball kicking 2020 out of the frame), tied our holiday marketing line (Give. Love. Believe.) to the charity donation, and then sincerely thanked everyone. We hoped it was an unexpected moment of joy in everyone’s inboxes that year.
